Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinate inventory needs with departments.
Experience with inventory control, adherence to cGMP and SOPs, ability to use inventory management software, and strong organizational and communication skills.
Position Summary: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing the management of inventory levels within the manufacturing facility. This includes monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all incoming and outgoing goods. In the absence of the Inventory Specialist, the Warehouse Lead, will oversee the daily duties and responsibilities regarding operation workflow and adherence of the SOPs and cGMPs. Employee Responsibilities • Adhere to cGMP and SOPs. • Report any situations that might have a negative effect on food safety or quality immediately to supervisor or QA Department. • Ensure food safety and quality are maintained according to company standards. • Comply with policies and procedures to prepare and pack products under sanitary conditions that do not expose it to the risk of contamination. • Operate and maintain a clean and hygienic standard of operation. Follow Company cGMP’s (Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Policies at all times) Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation of all stock movements. • Conduct regular cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records. • Coordinate with various departments to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts. • Implement and maintain efficient inventory management procedures to optimize stock levels. • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the Warehouse Manager. • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations in handling and storing inventory. • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. • Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and generate reports. • Participate in the development and improvement of inventory control processes. • Perform other duties as assigned.
