Job Description JOB OVERVIEW The Athlete Graphic Designer is responsible for designing compelling graphics and apparel for MTB, MX, UTV, and lifestyle categories, reflecting the brand’s leadership in performance and action sports. This role blends visual storytelling with technical apparel design, requiring a strong understanding of athlete branding, current trends, and garment construction. The designer will own projects from concept through final tech pack delivery, collaborating across teams to ensure timely execution and brand alignment. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Color & Graphics and is based out of our Irvine office. As the Athlete Graphic Designer, you will have an opportunity to: Design athlete-focused graphics for digital platforms, merchandise, and performance apparel. Create motion graphics and short-form video content featuring athletes. Develop engineered artwork on technical apparel patterns. Collaborate with marketing, social media, and product teams to align visuals with brand strategy. Research trends, colors, fabrics, and technologies to drive innovation in design. Own the full design process: concept development, tech pack creation, sample review, and finalization. Participate in fittings, art reviews, and design meetings to ensure accuracy and consistency. Present designs and project status to cross-functional teams and leadership. Travel domestically and internationally for market research, vendor visits, and design development. Maintain organized workflows and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You have: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Apparel Design, or related field. 4–6 years of experience in graphic or apparel design, preferably in sports or action sports industries. Strong portfolio showcasing athlete or performance-related design work. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. Deep understanding of garment construction, fabric technologies, and performance apparel. Ability to manage multiple projects across seasons with strong time management and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for sports and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Pay Range: Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $107,000.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
