Our manufacturing processes and schedules push physical limits, demanding extreme attention to detail while driving cross-functional teams to execute quickly and at high quality. You will foster collaboration across design engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, facilities, and production to align with company priorities. Additionally, you will understand project opportunities, challenges, and dependencies; translate scattered information into concise, complete messages; and communicate them to every team member. As the business process development lead, you will develop, maintain, and implement tools and processes to accelerate battery sourcing execution, achieve cross-functional alignment, and deliver highly efficient supply chains. What you'll do... • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches of new suppliers in support of complex battery storage supply chains • Create, maintain, and communicate schedules and plans for sourcing, battery manufacturing projects, including process development, validation, design, SOP, and mass production sustainment • Prepare roll-up information and reports for senior leadership on project status, blockers, and changes • Coordinate build milestones with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, and Production teams • Track material readiness, project costs, and drive cost management improvements • Provide technical leadership and project management to identify creative, timely solutions to key program challenges You'll have... • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering and/or equivalent experience. • 3+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or related area • 2+ years' experience of managing projects or programs with engagement of stakeholders across finance, engineering, supply chain, operations, and manufacturing to drive aggressive timelines and deliver complex outcomes on time Even better, you may have... • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering • 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or related area • Experience working with high tech products, including semiconductors, electrical distribution, or batteries • Superb communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to take initiative and operate independently You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply! This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
