Manager, Scientific Innovation (SI) Reports to: SI Director The Petauri Advance SI Manager creates scientifically sound, clinically relevant, and strategically positioned content for healthcare professionals through various communication channels. With a passion for science, they can distill complex information into impactful learning. This individual has outstanding interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and internal cross-functional teams. Essential Functions • Perform literature reviews and searches • Write reports and summaries from notes • Check references and create reference packs • With direction from SI Director, build scientific deliverables (eg, presentations, client reports, manuscripts, posters, and abstracts) by applying expert skills in MS Word and PowerPoint • Support SI Directors in strategic evaluation and recommendations • Maintain medical, legal, and regulatory project aspects • Maintain current client relationships • Develop relationships with faculty advisors through collaboration on publications, advisory board meetings, and speaker training initiatives • Support client work by traveling to live events and meetings (approximately 20%) • Perform other duties as assigned to support project work Competencies To be successful in a position, an individual must not only perform the essential functions of the job but also demonstrate expertise. These skills include being attentive to the customer’s needs, collaborating with teammates, demonstrating the ability to influence, identifying and solving problems, and working through conflict by encouraging open communication Required Education and/or Experience • An advanced science or clinical degree (eg, PhD, MBBS, MD, PharmD, RN, RPh) or a lesser degree with significant relevant experience • Experience in medical research, medical education, pharmaceutical writing, or medical writing Client interaction and customer service are integral to this role. Periodic travel (local, national, or international) to client sites or events is required.
