Company Description Food Finders is a non-profit food rescue organization serving Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. We rescue good, wholesome perishable and non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, household items and pet food. Donors include LA produce market, grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals, hotels, schools, farmers markets, catering companies, manufacturers and distributors. Food is then delivered directly to one of our 330 partner agencies. Agencies include missions, food pantries, churches, senior centers, sober livings, and shelters. Food Finders has various programs that include our Food 4 Kids Program that provides 1,500 monthly boxes of food to 47 Long Beach schools on Thursdays & Fridays. Our College Pantry start up provides the initial donation to open the pantry and we provide or can purchase additional food throughout the school year. We also strengthen the communities we serve by supporting events such as senior breakfasts, book fairs, back to school events and holiday distributions with food. Our mission is to eliminate hunger and food waste while improving nutrition in the food-insecure communities we serve. In 36 years, we've rescued over 153 million pounds of food, that is enough food for nearly 211 million meals or enough food to feed the state of CA more than 5 times! Job Description Food Finders is seeking a passionate Development Manager to lead individual giving strategies that grow sustainable revenue and deepen donor relationships. This role manages donors across annual, major, monthly, and planned giving, and plays a key role in campaigns and special events. What You’ll Do • Manage and grow an individual donor portfolio • Lead fundraising campaigns (digital, direct mail, peer-to-peer) • Support major and planned giving with leadership and board • Oversee donor stewardship and recognition • Track donor engagement and reporting in DonorPerfect • Plan and execute our annual fundraising event Who You Are • 3–5 years in nonprofit fundraising/development • Strong communicator and relationship-builder • Experienced with donor databases and fundraising tools • Highly organized and mission-driven • Passionate about hunger relief, food justice, and sustainability Details Salary: $65,000–$68,000 + benefits Location: Southern California (valid CA driver’s license required) Some evenings/weekends for events To Apply Send resume and cover letter to Lisa Hoffmaster at lisah@foodfinders.org Anticipated start date: March 2 • Join us in working toward zero hunger and zero food waste
