We have an immediate opening for a Global Procurement Merger and Acquisitions Project Manager for an 12-month+ contract opportunity. This is a temporary role created specifically to support acquisition integration efforts. Its duration and scope will align with the M&A transition timeline and business needs. This role will be working with teams in California and Costa Rica to integrate procurement and accounting functions into an existing Costa Rica Shared Services Center. Position Description (Principal Duties and Responsibilities) • Leading cross-functional planning and execution activities for the acquisition integration project, partnering closely with Global Procurement and GPC leadership. • Defining integration scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics aligned to business and transition objectives. • Developing comprehensive project plans required to integrate the acquired site, including all tasks, owners, dependencies, and milestones. • Monitoring programs and workstreams from initiation through completion, ensuring progress remains on schedule and within budget. • Developing and maintaining detailed program schedules, including critical paths, intersecting milestones, and long-term integration timelines. • Building and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), taxonomy documentation, and Gantt charts that reflect all integration tasks and dependencies. • Analyzing schedule risks and critical path impacts, identifying issues early and implementing mitigation actions. • Developing and executing stakeholder engagement plans to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely communication across functions. • Facilitating cross-functional meetings, steering updates, and integration status reviews. • Acting as a primary interface between Global Procurement, GPC Costa Rica, and other internal customers affected by the acquisition transition. • Providing leadership to team members supporting transition activities, including direct reports and cross-functional contributors. • Clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and expectations related to integration workstreams. • Guiding team performance, workload planning, and prioritization during the transition timeline. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within transformation, integration, or supply chain environments. • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with strong planning, scheduling, and communication skills. • Experience working with WBS, Gantt charts, and critical path methodology. • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels. • Ability to resolve complex issues with limited guidance in a dynamic, high-change environment.
