Overview FMI’s Leadership and Organizational Development Practice is seeking a passionate and collaborative Business Operations Manager to support the Leadership & Organizational Development (LOD) practice. This role will partner with LOD leadership to execute strategic priorities, strengthen operations, and build scalable processes that support continued growth. FMI is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the Leadership & Organizational Development (LOD) practice. This role will partner with LOD leadership to execute strategic priorities, strengthen operations, and build scalable processes that support continued growth. This is a build-and-improve role focused on creating structure, improving processes, and using data to help leaders make informed decisions. This is a full-time position which can be remote but with preference given to candidates located near FMI’s Raleigh, NC or Denver, CO offices. All applicants for employment must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time. Responsibilities Coordinate strategic priorities, track progress, and drive follow-through across the practice. Improve staffing and workforce planning by connecting consultant capacity with project demand. Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring needs and improve hiring and onboarding processes. Manage and improve recurring practice operations, systems, and workflows. Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into staffing, performance, and business needs. Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen how the practice operates. Build alignment across stakeholders and keep priorities moving forward. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of experience in business operations, practice management, program management, internal consulting, or a related field. Experience building and improving operational processes and systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders without formal authority. Comfortable working in a growing environment with evolving priorities. Experience with Salesforce, reporting platforms, or business intelligence tools is beneficial. Willingness to travel throughout the United States.
