Scrum Master - Public Health Technology Role Overview: We're seeking an experienced Scrum Master who understands the unique landscape of public health technology. Working within our SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, you'll blend your scrum expertise with public health knowledge to drive our teams' success. We're looking for someone who brings both the technical skills of a Scrum Master and the lived experience of working in public health systems. As a consulting firm, we value candidates who are passionate, fun, and engaging - people who can build strong relationships in a remote environment while maintaining the structure and discipline needed for effective agile delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate scrum ceremonies within the SAFe framework • Coach teams on agile methodologies and best practices • Remove impediments to team progress • Support continuous improvement through retrospectives • Maintain and improve project tracking and visibility • Foster collaboration between technical teams and public health stakeholders • Contribute public health subject matter expertise to project discussions • Create engaging remote work environments that promote team success Required Skills: • Direct experience working in governmental public health • Scrum Master certification • Experience implementing SAFe methodologies • Strong facilitation and coaching abilities • Excellence in remote team management • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement • Strong time management and self-motivation • Ability to work with AI tools and large language models Preferred Skills: • Experience managing distributed teams • Understanding of public health workflows and processes • Knowledge of project management tools • Background in health technology implementations • History of creating engaging team environments Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
