FloSports is the leading digital platform for underserved sports, combining live and on-demand streaming, original programming, data, and technology to help sports grow their audiences and build sustainable businesses, from youth to professional levels. Flo streams more than 50,000 live events annually across sports, including motorsports, wrestling, hockey, track & field, cheer, jiu-jitsu, NCAA Division II and III athletics, and more. THE ROLE: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build and evolve scalable web applications, balancing frontend and backend development. This role emphasizes hands-on coding, collaboration, and system design to deliver high-performance, maintainable solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who values clean architecture, thoughtful design, and pragmatic problem-solving. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications across the full stack. Build reusable UI components and libraries with attention to detail and user experience. Develop backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications. Contribute to architectural decisions within your team. Participate in code reviews and support the technical growth of peers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, estimate work, and meet project objectives. Identify technical debt and advocate for improvements that balance velocity with code quality. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong foundation in software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices. Proficient in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar). Skilled in Node.js and building high-performance APIs. Experience with responsive, mobile-first web application development. Familiarity with monorepo tooling, OOP principles, and scalable architecture. Experience designing solutions for complex systems, such as ad delivery networks or authentication. Ownership mindset with a drive for results and creative problem-solving. Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical work with business objectives. NICE TO HAVE: Experience with Angular and NestJS. Familiarity with NX monorepos.
