Your Work Matters As a Java Engineer, you’ll be the bridge between technology and the frontline Customer Care team—making sure Salesforce actually works for the people who use it every day. You'll own the tools that power how we support customers, while flexing your Java skills in a broader, adaptable tech stack. This role is built for someone who thrives in cross-functional teams and wants their code to directly improve lives—inside and outside the company. Your Day Consists Of Supporting our Customer Care Team by translating business needs into practical, scalable Salesforce and Java-based solutions. Participating in daily Agile ceremonies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to iterative development cycles. Building and maintaining microservices, REST APIs, and integrations across platforms. Troubleshooting and solving infrastructure, data, and system challenges that impact customers and frontline staff. Maintaining technical documentation, specs, test plans, and deployment instructions for ongoing efficiency and knowledge-sharing. Working across multiple active projects in different phases of development and testing—context switching comes with the territory. Confidence in API development, versioning, testing (Postman, SOAPUI), and documentation. Strong Java fundamentals with the flexibility to adapt to new technologies—Apex familiarity is a plus. Experience managing multiple workstreams and shifting between priorities with focus and composure. Working knowledge of tools like Jenkins, ServiceNow, Terraform, and Dynatrace—or the curiosity and grit to learn them fast. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container-based environments like Kubernetes. An ability to think beyond code—seeing the business problems, not just the tickets. Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
