Role: Sr. MDM Informatica Developer/ Architect with Syndigo Experience Location: 100% Remote Duration: Long Term Experience: 12+ Years Position Summary The Senior MDM Informatica Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica MDM and Syndigo platforms. This role involves defining MDM architecture, governance, and integration frameworks across multiple domains (Product, Customer, Supplier, etc.), ensuring master data accuracy, quality, and synchronization across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica MDM architecture, data modeling, data governance, and product content syndication (Syndigo), along with the ability to lead end-to-end enterprise data management initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Lead architecture design, implementation, and optimization of Informatica MDM solutions for multiple master data domains. • Define and implement MDM architecture, data models, hierarchies, match-merge, and survivorship rules. • Integrate Informatica MDM with upstream and downstream systems using Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, API, and REST-based services. • Design Syndigo product content syndication workflows, ensuring accurate and consistent product data publishing to retailers and marketplaces. • Define data governance processes, metadata management strategies, and stewardship workflows. • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather MDM and Syndigo integration requirements. • Implement data quality standards and exception management using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ). • Establish best practices for MDM performance tuning, scalability, and security. • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and solution guidance to MDM development teams. • Develop and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, data flow mappings, and documentation. • Partner with enterprise architects, data governance, and business teams to align MDM strategy with overall enterprise data architecture. • Manage vendor relationships (Informatica, Syndigo) for upgrades, patches, and technical support. Required Skills & Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in enterprise data management with at least 6+ years of hands-on Informatica MDM implementation and architecture experience. • Proven experience designing and implementing MDM solutions across domains (Product, Customer, Supplier, etc.). • Strong knowledge of Informatica MDM components Hub Console, IDD, SIF, Business Entity Services, Hierarchy Manager, and Match-Merge. • Expertise in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and data profiling. • Experience integrating Informatica MDM with Syndigo or other product content syndication platforms (1WorldSync, Salsify, etc.). • Deep understanding of Syndigo data model, content feeds, attributes mapping, and retailer syndication channels. • Strong data modeling and data architecture skills - conceptual, logical, and physical. • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter / IICS for ETL integrations. • Working knowledge of data governance frameworks, data stewardship processes, and metadata management. • Familiarity with cloud MDM solutions (Informatica Cloud MDM / IICS MDM) preferred. • Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or Snowflake. • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work in agile and cross-functional teams, leading design discussions and architecture reviews. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) and product data distribution. • Exposure to Syndigo Content Experience Hub or retailer syndication workflows (Walmart, Amazon, Lowe's, etc.). • Informatica certifications (MDM, IDQ, IICS, PowerCenter). • Knowledge of Azure or AWS data platforms for cloud integration. • Experience in retail, CPG, healthcare, or manufacturing domains.
