Develop and refine machine learning models, analyze data, and support AI research and development.
Experience with Python, understanding of deep learning and ML methods, and interest in AI applications in robotics, healthcare, or automation.
Overview If you’re excited about building intelligent systems and want hands-on experience developing real-world AI models, this internship places you at the center of FloLabs’ machine learning efforts. You’ll help create algorithms that support humanoid robots, adaptive learning systems, healthcare tools, space technologies, and other next-generation applications. Interns work closely with AI engineers, roboticists, and data scientists as they move through the full machine learning development cycle - from preparing datasets to training and evaluating models, to refining architectures for deployment. You’ll also explore emerging AI frameworks and research trends, helping the team assess tools that can enhance performance and productivity. Key Responsibilities • Develop and refine machine learning models, focusing on perception, prediction, and adaptive behavior. • Experiment with deep learning architectures, testing variations that improve accuracy, generalization, or efficiency. • Analyze structured and unstructured data, preparing datasets and extracting insights that guide model improvements. • Support the creation of scalable ML pipelines, enabling applications across robotics, education, healthcare, travel, and other domains. • Evaluate new frameworks, APIs, and AI tools, recommending workflows that enhance engineering productivity. • Document experiments, methodologies, and results, contributing to internal knowledge-sharing. • Participate in team research discussions and project reviews, offering ideas and helping iterate on prototypes. Qualifications & Skills • Experience with Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is a plus. • Understanding of deep learning, neural networks, and common machine learning methods is preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think both analytically and creatively. • Interest in applying ML within robotics, healthcare, cognitive systems, or intelligent automation. • Comfortable working independently and collaborating within distributed teams. • Curiosity about emerging AI research, tools, and open-source ecosystems. Why Join Us • Fully remote & flexible schedule. Work from anywhere, either full time (up to 40 hours per week) or part time (minimum 8–10 hours per week). • Hands-on, impactful work. Build machine learning models that contribute to humanoid robot behavior, perception systems, and cross-industry AI applications. • Career-advancing experience. Gain practical skills in applied AI, deep learning, data processing, and robotics-aligned ML engineering. • Mentorship & learning. Collaborate with experienced AI engineers and researchers while working on cutting-edge intelligent systems. • Growth pathways. Eligibility for our Earn & Learn program after successful completion of the internship. We actively collaborate with colleges and universities to support academic credit for this internship. If selected, we will work with your institution to help facilitate the credit approval process, subject to your school's policies and requirements. Job Type: Internship Work Location: Remote
