CDL-A Driver - Hazmat | Home Most Nights | Southeast Route | Charlotte, NC 28202 About the Role Flint Logistics is hiring a Class A CDL driver with at least one year of recent experience and a valid hazmat endorsement. This is a dedicated auto parts delivery position where drivers operate electric pallet jacks to unload freight at closed retail locations. Expect 3 to 6 stops per day and approximately 30 unloads per week across five established delivery routes. Route Details You'll average 1,700 to 1,800 miles each week delivering to eight stores in the Southeast. Deliveries take place at night using liftgate trailers, and all route materials are provided, including store keys, alarm codes, and detailed instructions. This is a hands-on, night-focused role that rewards dependable, efficient drivers. Home Time & Schedule Most nights you'll sleep in your own bed, with only one to two layovers per week. Dispatch options include Sunday through Thursday, Monday through Friday, or Tuesday through Saturday. Weekend delivery days are typically lighter, allowing for better work-life balance. Pay Structure Drivers earn $1,215 and $1,315 weekly, including mileage pay, stop pay at $30 per stop, and a minimum guarantee when a full week is completed. You'll also receive a $500 sign-on bonus paid during your second week. If you're delayed by breakdowns or asked to assist with yard or office work, we compensate at $17/hour after the first two hours. Our Equipment Drive late-model Kenworth and Freightliner trucks (2018 or newer), governed at 65 MPH. Depending on the route, you may occasionally drive a box truck or a sleeper unit for layover trips. Qualifications To qualify, you must have 12 months of recent CDL-A experience, a hazmat endorsement, and the ability to work night shifts. Comfort with physically unloading freight using powered equipment is also important.
