Small family law firm in Fairfax, VA seeking an Administrative Assistant to support owner and practice. Hours/Schedule: In Fairfax office 4-5 days/week, 5-7 hours/day, approximately 25-30 hours/week Job Type: Contract to Hire Location Requirements: On-site in downtown Fairfax Rate: $30/hour Responsibilities: • Professionally answer phones, field calls, take messages • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings • Input attorney hours for invoicing (client uses Time Slip billing software) • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable • Manage mailing and order supplies as needed Qualifications: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Professional that can be the “first face” of the law firm • Strong communication skills, professional phone skills • Tech savvy with the ability to quickly pick-up new software/computer programs • Self-started who is focused, organized and detail oriented • Reliable and punctual • Ability to multitask and take direction • Prior experience at a law firm preferred • Experience in a small office environment preferred FlexProfessionals respects and seeks to empower each individual and support the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills and experiences of its candidate network.
