Role Overview: As a Customer Intake Specialist, you will serve as the vital link between consumers and insurance providers, ensuring a smooth and informative intake process. Your role is essential in helping customers understand their options and select car insurance coverage that fits their unique needs. What You'll Do: - You will engage with customers to gather detailed information about their insurance needs. - You will educate consumers on various car insurance options and coverage plans. - You will connect customers with trusted insurance carriers that best match their requirements. - You will maintain accurate records of customer interactions and insurance selections. - You will collaborate with team members to improve the intake process and customer experience. - You will handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. - You will meet daily and weekly performance targets related to customer intake and satisfaction. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or insurance-related roles. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse customers. - Ability to understand and explain insurance products clearly. - Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a call center environment. - Knowledge of car insurance policies and industry regulations. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous sales or customer intake experience in the insurance sector.
