Role and Responsibilities of Seasonal Retail Sales Associate: Working at Five Below requires you to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to store operations to maintain a joyous and hospitable shopping environment for all patrons. • Offer prompt and welcoming support to customers with a helpful approach. • Demonstrate familiarity with products, offer suggestions, and cater to customer needs with appropriate solutions. • Foster customer engagement by marketing store events, promotions, and activities to encourage participation. • Manage customer issues with respect and present alternative solutions where feasible. • Pass on information about restocked goods and client responses to the management team. • Collaborate with your team members to meet the goals of the store and the overall company successfully. Qualifications for Seasonal Retail Sales Associate: • Individuals who are at least 16 years of age are eligible to enter. • Flexible scheduling, encompassing evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a must. • Competent in the operation and learning of tech tools such as registers and handheld devices. • Demonstrates exceptional abilities in customer service and communication. • Skill in quickly and professionally solving problems with efficiency. • Willingness to grow through hands-on learning experiences. Essential Job Functions of Seasonal Retail Sales Associate: • Manage financial transactions at the point of sale and handle customer payments. • Transfer and organize goods weighing up to 25 pounds and reach shelving that is up to 10 feet high. • Climb ladders, flex, twist, and crouch down while performing stocking responsibilities and supporting customers. • Communicate through personal meetings and telephone conversations with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. • Consistently shuttle between the sales floor and stockrooms. • Concentrate and stay upright for an extended duration. • Show readiness to adjust your timetable to include overnight shifts as necessary.
