Role and Responsibilities of Retail Store Sales Representative: As a Five Below associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service and support store operations to ensure a fun, welcoming shopping experience. • Show genuine care and professionalism in addressing customer queries and challenges with active listening. • Display product familiarity, propose recommendations, and offer personalized solutions to meet the diverse needs of customers. • Spark customer interaction by publicizing store events, promotions, and activities to elevate engagement levels. • Politely tackle customer concerns, suggesting alternatives when appropriate. • Convey information about replenishing stock and receiving feedback from customers to the leadership team. • Collaborate with your team members to meet the goals of the store and the overall company successfully. Qualifications for Retail Store Sales Representative: • To engage, one must be no younger than 16 years of age. • Availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays, indicating flexibility. • Adaptable and knowledgeable in the usage of technology such as cash registers and hand-held devices. • Possesses outstanding customer service and communication competencies. • Skill in quickly and professionally solving problems with efficiency. • Enthusiastic about acquiring new skills through on-the-job education. Essential Job Functions of Retail Store Sales Representative: • Operate the cash register to facilitate customer transactions and handle payments securely. • Maneuver and stack goods that are up to 25 pounds in weight and reach shelves that are 10 feet tall. • Engage in ladder climbing and various physical movements such as bending, twisting, and stooping while assisting with stocking and customer service. • Communicate through personal meetings and telephone conversations with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. • Continuously move throughout the sales floor and stockroom facilities. • Sustain your attention and hold an upright posture for prolonged periods. • Show flexibility in your schedule by being open to adapting to potential overnight shifts.
