Role and Responsibilities of Retail Store Associate: As a member of the Five Below team, your core duties will involve delivering outstanding customer service and assisting in the smooth running of store operations to ensure a fun and inviting shopping experience for all. • Demonstrate attentive listening to identify and resolve customer concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. • Display product familiarity, propose recommendations, and offer personalized solutions to meet the diverse needs of customers. • Encourage customer engagement by marketing store events, promotions, and activities to stimulate participation. • Respond to customer complaints courteously, offering alternatives when possible. • Share insights on replenishing inventory and customer feedback with the managerial staff. • Join forces with your team members to achieve the goals outlined for the store and the organization. Qualifications for Retail Store Associate: • Individuals who are at least 16 years of age are eligible to enter. • Open availability, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. • Adept in operating and adapting to digital tools such as registers and handheld gadgets. • Strong aptitude for customer service and effective communication skills. • Ability to swiftly and expertly address and resolve matters in a professional manner. • Enthusiasm for acquiring new abilities through training while on duty. Essential Job Functions of Retail Store Associate: • Carry out cashier responsibilities and process customer transactions accurately. • Maneuver and stack goods that are up to 25 pounds in weight and reach shelves that are 10 feet tall. • Scale ladders and execute bending, twisting, and stooping movements when restocking items and helping customers. • Engage in verbal communication with customers, colleagues, and supervisors, either in person or over the phone. • Regularly traverse between sales sections and storage areas. • Concentrate and stay upright for an extended duration. • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible in terms of scheduling, potentially including working overnight.
