Role and Responsibilities of Part Time Retail Associate: Being a part of the Five Below team means you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer care and supporting the daily operations of the store to create a fun and inviting shopping environment. • Engage attentively with customer inquiries and issues, responding with understanding and expertise. • Offer product expertise, suggest options, and provide customized solutions to address customer needs comprehensively. • Encourage customer engagement by marketing store events, promotions, and activities to stimulate participation. • Politely tackle customer concerns, suggesting alternatives when appropriate. • Communicate about merchandise restocking and customer reviews with the management. • Coordinate with your team to fulfill the goals set for the store and the company. Qualifications for Part Time Retail Associate: • The minimum age requirement for involvement is 16 years old. • Availability is needed during evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility. • Adept in operating and adapting to digital tools such as registers and handheld gadgets. • Effective communication abilities and excellent customer support aptitude. • Capacity to promptly and appropriately resolve issues with professionalism. • Eagerness to develop through on-the-job learning opportunities. Essential Job Functions of Part Time Retail Associate: • Execute cash register operations and manage customer transactions. • Transport and arrange items that weigh no more than 25 pounds and can be stored on shelves reaching a height of 10 feet. • Scale ladders and execute bending, twisting, and stooping movements when restocking items and helping customers. • Communicate through personal meetings and telephone conversations with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. • Frequently relocate between different sections of the store and storage spaces. • Persist in staying focused and keeping an upright position for an extended time frame. • Display a willingness to adjust your schedule flexibly, which might involve working overnight hours.
