Role and Responsibilities of Full Time Retail Associate: The responsibilities of a Five Below staff member involve offering top-notch customer support and contributing to the smooth operation of the store to guarantee a positive and engaging shopping atmosphere. • Extend a friendly and accommodating greeting to patrons as soon as they arrive. • Demonstrate familiarity with products, offer suggestions, and cater to customer needs with appropriate solutions. • Elevate customer engagement through the promotion of store events, special deals, and activities. • Handle customer complaints graciously, suggesting alternative options when appropriate. • Inform management about restocking inventory and receiving feedback from customers. • Cooperate with your colleagues to accomplish the targets set for the store and the company. Qualifications for Full Time Retail Associate: • Individuals who are at least 16 years of age are eligible to enter. • The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary. • Adept in operating and adapting to digital tools such as registers and handheld gadgets. • Proficient in both communication and customer care capabilities. • Capacity to promptly and appropriately resolve issues with professionalism. • Readiness to expand knowledge through practical training in the workplace. Essential Job Functions of Full Time Retail Associate: • Run a cash register and process payments from clients. • Handle and store goods that weigh no more than 25 pounds and can be placed on shelves reaching up to 10 feet in height. • Engage in ladder climbing and bending, twisting, and stooping actions during duties such as stocking merchandise and supporting customers. • Engage in direct and telephonic communication with customers, peers, and superiors. • Regularly move around the sales floor and storage facilities. • Stay attentive and stand upright for an extended period of time. • Embrace the flexibility of accommodating possible overnight shifts in your schedule.
