Full Description

Job Summary The Parts Manager/Warehouse Helper is responsible for managing inventory, ordering and receiving parts, maintaining an organized warehouse, and providing support to technicians and other staff. This role ensures accurate stock levels, efficient workflow, and smooth daily operations. Key ResponsibilitiesParts Management • Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts. • Order parts and supplies from approved vendors based on demand and usage trends. • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. • Track backorders, warranties, returns, and special orders. • Maintain up-to-date parts records in inventory management software. • Provide parts to technicians promptly and ensure correct charging/out-tracking procedures. Warehouse Operations • Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. • Label and store parts properly for easy retrieval and accurate tracking. • Assist with loading/unloading shipments and deliveries as needed. • Help prepare outgoing shipments or transfers to other branches. • Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and responsibly. Customer & Team Support • Assist walk-in or internal customers in identifying and locating needed parts. • Communicate effectively with vendors, technicians, and managers regarding part availability and delays. • Support other departments by providing timely inventory information and documentation. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (required). • Experience in parts management, inventory, or warehouse operations (preferred). • Basic computer and inventory software skills. • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Forklift experience or certification (preferred but not required).
