Role Overview: As a Senior SQL Server Database Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Corporate Systems team by designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions. Your expertise will help drive the efficiency and scalability of our data infrastructure, enabling the firm to meet its strategic objectives. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and optimize complex SQL Server databases and stored procedures. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - You will ensure database performance, security, and reliability through monitoring and tuning. - You will develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and reporting. - You will troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly. - You will document database designs, processes, and standards to maintain knowledge sharing. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - You will mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL Server database development. - Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization. - Experience with database design, normalization, and indexing strategies. - Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts. - Solid understanding of database security best practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based database services such as Azure SQL Database. - Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
