Role Overview: As a Senior SQL Server Database Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Corporate Systems team by designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and optimize complex SQL Server databases to support business applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - You will ensure database performance, security, and reliability through monitoring and tuning. - You will develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and functions to enhance database functionality. - You will troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for database development. - You will assist in the migration and integration of data across various systems. - You will document database designs, processes, and standards to ensure knowledge sharing. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL Server database development and administration. - Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization techniques. - Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization. - Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting SQL Server environments. - Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based database services such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS. - Knowledge of other database platforms like Oracle or MySQL. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools. - Experience in financial services or investment management industry.
