Job Title Senior Java Full Stack Engineer About your role: At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Fiserv’s state-of-the-art enterprise dispute processing systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs. What you will do: Own the software development process from conception to deployment based on user requirements Maintain and upgrade software applications following deployment Oversee and guide offshore resources: analyze, write, build, and software deployment Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements Test and deploy programs and applications Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. Experience you'll need to have: 6+ years of experience in enterprise application development using Java Full Stack technologies: Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring framework 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, XML, XSLT, JSON, third-party libraries such as jQuery, and lightweight framework Vue.js 5+ years of experience with database technologies, including DB2 and Oracle 3+ years of experience with Linux and PAAS product Docker Containers 3+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Platform and its ecosystem 3+ years of experience with Fortify, Web-Inspect and Sonatype source scanning 2+ years of experience in finance, banking, payments services and card processing Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience Experience that would be great to have: Experience with SonarQube and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks Experience with document barcoding techniques Experience in software development for document/imaging processing or using 3rd party software like Accusoft and Kofax Ascent Capture Experience with transmissions technology like Sterling’s (now IBM) Connect:Direct How you’ll work: Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech; this role is on-site Monday through Friday.
