Job Type Full-time Description Reporting to the Festival Director and Senior Festival Operations Manager, The Kids Lead/Festival Lead is responsible for the execution of the kids product for Spartan Race, Inc. Prior to and after the conclusion of the kids race timeline, the Kids Lead/Festival Support will work with the Festival team to ensure the successful execution of the event overall. The Kids Lead/Festival Support ensures that the kids' courses are set up and torn down in a safe and timely manner while also maintaining brand standards. Requirements Specific Responsibilities: • Attend at least 11 events per year up to 12 days at a time. • Manage staff members and volunteers in setup, operation, and tear down of the kids product. • Edit course design as necessary and communicate changes so the maps are staying up to date. • Attending virtual meetings as scheduled.. • Working with the festival team on building the festival area. • Marking the course flow for up to two miles of distance while ensuring course marking is clear and participants will not get lost. • Manage timelines to ensure the event is set up in time for race day and torn down prior to load out. • Operate machines as needed throughout the event cycle. Role Requirements: • Able to spend long hours standing and walking. • Able to lift at least 50 pounds. • Adaptable to ever changing situations and weather conditions. • Ability to make decisions in a potentially high stress environment. • Customer Service skills.
