Full Description

Job Description: • Manage strategies to build relationships with and secure financial support from individual donors, Native American tribes, and related organizations. • Overseeing donor communications and stewardship, analyzing campaign performance, and helping to meet the organization’s financial goals through consistent annual contributions. • Build relationships with tribal leaders, understanding tribal priorities, and aligning the organization's mission with the interests and values of Native American communities, Tribal Nations, and foundations. • Collaborate with Advancement and Communications staff, senior leadership, and program staff to create compelling donor materials, align donor interests with organizational priorities, and ensure seamless communication. • Track and analyze campaign performance to identify areas for improvement and report on progress toward goals. • Manage a personal portfolio of 75-100 current and prospective donors, building relationships and personally soliciting contributions through personalized engagement strategies. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (fundraising, marketing, communications) or equivalent professional experience. • Preferred: 3-7+ years of progressive fundraising and nonprofit management experience with a proven track record of securing 5-7 figure grants/gifts. • Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational and analytical skills are essential. • Experience with fundraising software and databases is a must. • Experience with digital marketing (for fundraising) and social media is a plus. • Beneficial: Proximity to Native Nations and/or tribal/communities.
