Bachelor’s degree in related field, 3–5 years experience in programming, business systems analysis or project management in digital marketing, familiarity with MarTech platforms, PMP certification or willingness to obtain, and preferred financial services experience.
Who we are looking for: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager to join our Digital Marketing team as we implement a transformational MarTech stack. This role will be instrumental in bridging business goals with technology capabilities, leading discovery, documentation, requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and vendor integration across critical digital platforms. You will also be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery and effective execution across cross-functional teams. What you will do: Business Systems Analysis & Requirements Gathering Lead discovery sessions with SMEs and document comprehensive business requirements (BRDs), including but not limited to scope, use cases, functional specifications, data flows, technical integrations, content strategy documentation, and user interactions, etc. Translate business needs into detailed documented technical specifications and interface requirements. Map content strategy, workflow diagrams, SLAs, and KPIs for marketing automation, content management, and analytics initiatives. Analyze and improve digital marketing operations and workflows; provide gap analyses and solution recommendations. Collaborate with stakeholders, technology partners, data, compliance, and agency partners to ensure alignment and system integrity. Project Management Manage digital marketing platform implementation and integration projects; manage timelines, deliverables, milestones, and risk mitigation. Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, stakeholder communications, and escalation paths. Coordinate cross-functional resources and ensure interdependencies are managed effectively. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), QA reviews, training rollout and procedures documentation. Establish change management processes and documentation best practices across initiatives. The qualities you should have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Information Systems, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in programming, business systems analysis or project management in a digital marketing or marketing operations setting; within financial services, asset/wealth management, preferred. Demonstrated experience creating and managing business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specs, technical specs, content strategy, interactions, SLAs, and test plans. Hands-on experience leading or supporting MarTech platform migrations and implementations (e.g., Marketo, AEM, 6sense, Salesforce, GA4, Snowflake). Familiarity with marketing and data integration pipelines strategies (REST APIs, webhooks, connectors, tagging, personalization engines). Ability to build data flow diagrams and systems architecture overviews, a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes across complex tech stacks. Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and matrixed environment. PMP certification or equivalent experience; or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment. Experience within the asset/wealth management or financial services industry, preferred. Working knowledge/certification of ITIL, Agile/Scrum, or Six Sigma methodologies, a plus. Exposure to data governance, privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, FINRA), and preference center management. Familiarity with Adobe Target use cases (e.g., A/B/n testing, personalization rules, audience segmentation). Working experience in Monday.com, JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project, or other project tracking tools. Experience preparing documentation for business stakeholders, compliance teams, and tech partners as official requirements for implementation. Base Salary range: $95,000 - $140,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
