Job Title: Senior Model Based Systems Engineer (Hybrid) Company Overview: First Division Consulting is a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions dedicated to supporting defense and government clients. Role Overview: As a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 408 - Naval Expeditionary Missions (EXM) Program Office. Your expertise will drive analytical and program management efforts, ensuring the successful execution of complex naval systems projects. What You'll Do: - You will provide comprehensive Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) analysis support to NAVSEA PMS 408. - You will develop and maintain system models to support design, integration, and verification activities. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system requirements and design. - You will support program management activities including scheduling, reporting, and risk assessment. - You will assist in the preparation of technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders. - You will conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements. - You will facilitate communication between engineering teams and program leadership. - You will contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the program office. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering or related systems engineering roles. - Proficiency with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of naval systems and defense acquisition processes. - Experience supporting government or military program offices, preferably NAVSEA. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and collaborate with diverse teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with SysML and UML modeling languages. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Security clearance or eligibility for clearance. - Prior experience in expeditionary or maritime systems engineering.
