Job Title: Senior Model Based Systems Engineer (Hybrid) Company Overview: First Division Consulting is a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions dedicated to supporting defense and government clients. Role Overview: As a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 408 - Naval Expeditionary Missions (EXM) Program Office. Your expertise will drive analytical and program management efforts, ensuring the successful execution of complex systems engineering projects. What You'll Do: - You will provide comprehensive Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) analysis support to NAVSEA PMS 408. - You will develop and maintain system models to support design, integration, and verification activities. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system requirements and design. - You will support program management activities including scheduling, reporting, and risk assessment. - You will assist in the preparation of technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders. - You will identify and resolve technical issues through detailed analysis and problem-solving. - You will contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the engineering team. - You will provide administrative support to ensure smooth program operations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering or related systems engineering roles. - Proficiency with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes. - Experience supporting defense or government programs, preferably within naval or expeditionary mission contexts. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) programs or similar defense acquisition organizations. - Knowledge of DoD systems engineering standards and frameworks such as DoDAF or SysML. - Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP). - Familiarity with software development lifecycle and integration testing.
