Job Title: Model Based Systems Engineer (Hybrid) Company Overview: First Division Consulting is a leading provider of innovative engineering and consulting services, specializing in defense and government sectors. Role Overview: As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will provide essential analytical and program management support to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 408 - Naval Expeditionary Missions (EXM) Program Office. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the success of naval expeditionary missions through detailed MBSE analysis and effective program coordination. What You'll Do: - You will conduct Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) analysis to support NAVSEA PMS 408 program objectives. - You will provide ongoing analytical support to enhance system design and integration. - You will assist in program management activities, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met. - You will support administrative functions to maintain program documentation and compliance. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with program goals. - You will contribute to the development and refinement of system models and simulations. - You will participate in technical reviews and provide recommendations for system improvements. - You will communicate effectively with stakeholders to report progress and address challenges. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering or related fields. - Proficiency with MBSE tools such as SysML, MagicDraw, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of naval systems and defense program requirements. - Experience supporting government or military program offices. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) programs. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle and systems integration. - Security clearance or eligibility for clearance. - Project management certification or experience.
