Job Title: Model Based Systems Engineer (Hybrid) Company Overview: First Division Consulting is a leading provider of innovative engineering and consulting services, specializing in defense and government sectors. Role Overview: As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will provide essential analytical and program management support to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 408 - Naval Expeditionary Missions (EXM) Program Office. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the success of naval expeditionary missions through detailed systems engineering and administrative support. What You'll Do: - You will provide Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) analysis to support NAVSEA PMS 408 program objectives. - You will assist in program management activities, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met. - You will develop and maintain system models to support design, analysis, and decision-making processes. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system requirements and validate system performance. - You will prepare technical documentation and reports to communicate findings and recommendations. - You will support administrative tasks related to program execution and coordination. - You will participate in meetings and briefings to provide technical insights and status updates. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the program office. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - You have at least 3 years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering or a similar role. - You possess strong knowledge of MBSE tools such as SysML, MagicDraw, or equivalent. - You have experience working with defense or government programs, preferably NAVSEA or similar. - You demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - You are proficient in program management principles and tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Naval Expeditionary Missions or related defense systems. - Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and compliance requirements. - Advanced certifications in systems engineering or project management (e.g., INCOSE, PMP). - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
