Full Description

The Senior Branch Service Representative will assume, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities: • Receives and verifies sufficient cash from supervisor or designee, to handle daily cash disbursements. Balances cash receipts and prepares daily work summary envelopes. • Opens various credit union accounts, including IRAs, trusts, term certificates, shares and share draft accounts. • Interviews loan applicants, counsels members regarding consumer loan options, prepares documents and loan records, and makes sound recommendations to loan officers. • Discloses and funds approved loans. In the event a loan is denied, explains reason for loan decision. • Assists with the maintenance, control, and security of vault cash, including ordering of cash and verifying shipments upon arrival. • Assists to maintain appropriate control over Instant Issue ATM cards, checking account starter kits, cashier's checks, money orders, etc., while maintaining appropriate supply levels. • Assists to complete daily reports, such as large deposits/withdrawals, dormant accounts, new/closed accounts, etc. The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge and skillsets: • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Minimum four years' experience as a teller, loan processor, new accounts representative, or telephone representative in a financial institution • Basic math and 10-key skills • Excellent customer service and sales skills • Personal computer proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel Additional Information: • Full Time, Monday-Saturday, must be flexible with schedule • This position is located inside the Los Angeles County - USC Medical Center We provide competitive compensation and benefits package that includes: • Health, dental, and vision plans • 401(k) plan • Life insurance • Paid Time Off (PTO) Plan • Paid holidays EOE Job Posted by ApplicantPro
