Overview This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. At First Citizens Bank, the newly formed International Solutions Team plays a pivotal role in advancing the global banking franchise of all our brands including First Citizens Bank, Silicon Valley Bank and CIT, by supporting both the strategic expansion of the bank and the international operating needs of our clients as they scale globally. You will work on complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives, contributing to go-to-marketstrategy, business and product insights, opportunity identification, and global market expansion work. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, collaborative, and energized by connecting data,strategy, and execution across a globally oriented business. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to deepen your knowledge of international banking, cross-border payments, FX, trade finance, treasury operations, and global market trends, while creating real business value through insights, analytics, solution design, and sales enablement. Leveraging one of our hubs in SF, NYC, Raleigh or Charlotte as a base, this hybrid role will report to the Enterprise Head of International Solutions and will be an integral part of the broader Global Banking and Markets division. Responsibilities Analytics, Insights & Opportunity Identification • Analyze international client activity, flows, and product usage to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for cross-product expansion. • Support pipeline building and prioritization across international products by leveraging data, dashboards, and market analysis. • Develop international market, competitive, and jurisdictional insights to inform client strategy and geographic expansion. • Support the evolution of reporting and management information to strengthen visibility into global product performance and client engagement. • Coordinate international data and reporting across lines of business, leveraging resources to create holistic views while contributing to the standing of our future target state Client Solutioning & Go-to-Market Support • Assist in developing holistic international client solutions across FX, cross-border payments, foreign currency accounts, trade/working capital, and liquidity. • Contribute to product positioning, commercialization activities, and go-to-market campaigns for international capabilities. • Support the preparation of materials for client meetings, internal strategy sessions, and leadership updates. Strategic & Cross-Functional Initiatives • Support the execution of FCB’s jurisdictional strategy for non-U.S. markets, including research, market assessment, and prioritization activities. • Contribute to governance and cross-border control efforts, ensuring international activities align with enterprise risk frameworks. Internal Enablement & Collaboration • Support internal education efforts to improve cross-product knowledge and international fluency across sales and coverage teams. • Provide research, analysis, and insight to senior leadership to advance international strategy and operational effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in financial services, corporate treasury, fintech, consulting, or global payments OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in financial services, corporate treasury, fintech, consulting, or global payments. Preferred Requirements 3–5 years of experience in financial services, corporate treasury, fintech,consulting, or global payments. • Strong interest in international banking, FX, payments, trade finance, and cross border commerce. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to support client-facing and internal stakeholder engagement. • Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations. • Experience with dashboards, analytics, or visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python). • Ability to build relationships across functions and collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization. • Curiosity, creativity, and proactive problem-solving mindset. • Ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute with an entrepreneurial spirit. The base pay for this position is generally between $136,200.00, and $181,600.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
