Corporate Accounting Director Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid); 3 weeks per month remote, 1 week in office Job Type: Full-Time, Salary Exempt | Reports directly to the President & CEO First Alliance Logistics Management (FALM) is a leading national pallet solutions provider with a network of over 225 service centers across the United States. We also operate Industrial Compliance & Safety (ICS), a consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations in the construction, energy, and manufacturing sectors maintain essential safety and compliance certifications. Position Summary The Corporate Accounting Director plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of FALM’s financial and accounting operations. This position supports both business units and contributes to maintaining robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities · Oversee all financial transactions, accounting records, and internal control systems · Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness · Prepare internal management reports and formal financial statements · Participate in creating and compiling annual budgeting and forecasting initiatives · Ensure accurate and timely completion of state sales and use tax filings · Perform month-end close procedures and account reconciliations · Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews as required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA certification preferred, but not required) · 2–5 years of professional accounting experience · Solid understanding of tax reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks Online is advantageous · Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Why Join Us?
