Fiore Fedeli Snyder Carothers, LLP (FFSC) is a well-established public accounting firm serving Central Pennsylvania since 2005. With offices in Altoona and State College, our team of experienced CPAs and professionals provides a full range of services including accounting, taxation, auditing, financial planning, business formation, estates and trusts, and IRS problem resolution. We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our business and individual clients, while supporting staff development and contributing to the firm’s continued success. Responsibilities • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns. • Manage and mentor staff accountants; review their work for accuracy and completeness. • Conduct and support audits, compilations, and reviews. • Research and analyze complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda. • Communicate proactively with clients to provide advisory guidance and maintain strong relationships. Qualifications • CPA license required or preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. • Significant experience in public accounting with an emphasis on tax compliance and review. • Strong understanding of current federal and state tax regulations. • Detail-oriented and analytical with excellent organizational and communication skills. • Proficiency in tax and accounting software • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small-firm environment.
