Established Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice law firm seeks a Legal Nurse Consultant to become part of an excellent team of bright and proficient professionals who work together in a positive and supportive culture within a comfortable in-office working environment. The position entails reviewing medical malpractice fact patterns and medical records, speaking with clients and medical experts, conducting medical research, and providing a reasoned opinion as to whether the medical treatment rendered was within the standard of care. The position also entails assisting the managing attorney in determining whether or not a potential medical malpractice case should be accepted or rejected. The firm is seeking a candidate who can grow into a management position, expanding their earning potential while at the same time expanding the growth of the firm. As a Legal Nurse Consultant, you will: • Triage potential medical malpractice cases; • Analyze medical records; • Conduct medical research; • Create medical summaries; • Assist in determining departures and medical causation; • Speak and consult with clients and medical experts; • Work closely with the managing partners of the firm; and • Recommend acceptance or rejection of medical malpractice cases based upon merit and value.
