If you don’t have QBO experience, this role is not a fit. Role Summary We’re hiring an A-level Studio Operations Manager to run daily operations and help scale a high-end, design-driven tattoo studio. This position requires high responsibility, constant prioritization, and strong multitasking, because the studio is actively expanding and needs someone who can keep operations tight while growth accelerates. You will be the owner’s right hand: trusted, fast, structured, and proactive. When issues happen, you don’t ask what to do — you assess, decide, and propose solutions. What You’ll Own: > Operations & Systems • Run daily operations (opening/closing, flow, priorities, studio standards) • Own scheduling, bookings, deposits, payments, and client communication • Build and maintain SOPs, checklists, and reliable workflows • Coordinate vendors, building management, supplies, and recurring needs > Sales & Client Experience • Lead client communication and follow-ups with confidence • Improve conversion and reduce no-shows with structured systems • Maintain premium client experience and brand representation > Financial Control (QBO-Centered) • Track deposits, balances, expenses, and discrepancies accurately • Reconcile daily transactions and maintain clean records • Manage invoices, recurring expenses, supply orders, and weekly reporting > Team Coordination • Coordinate schedules and communication across a large artist team • Serve as the point of contact for artists, vendors, and building management • Support guest artists, studio events, and promotions when needed > Partnerships & Growth (Business Development) • Proactively identify and pursue collaboration opportunities (brands, local businesses, events, hotels, creators) • Represent the studio in negotiations with high-end presence • Close partnership deals: outreach → pitch → terms → execution → follow-up • Create opportunities that increase bookings, visibility, and studio reputation > Immediate Disqualifiers (Don’t Apply If…) • You’ve never used QuickBooks Online (or only “heard of it”) • You’re not naturally highly organized (no systems, no checklists, inconsistent follow-through) • You struggle with memory/attention to detail (miss follow-ups, forget tasks, need repeated reminders) • You can’t handle multitasking + prioritizing under pressure • You’re not polished / clean / presentable daily (high-end standard) • You’re not comfortable keeping a space clean, organized, and client-ready (hands-on required) • You avoid sales conversations, follow-up, or accountability for conversion • You’re not comfortable networking, outreach, or closing collaboration opportunities • You wait for instructions instead of actively hunting growth opportunities • You need constant direction instead of proposing solutions • You don’t have a leader mindset (you avoid ownership, accountability, or hard conversations) • You’re not loyal/discreet with sensitive information • You’re not comfortable in a tattoo studio environment • You’re “too senior” to do hands-on tasks when needed 7-Minute Application (Required) To apply, email the following in one message: • Resume • QBO Proof (required): Years using QuickBooks Online + 5 tasks you personally handled in QBO • Two short examples (bullets): • A system/process you built that improved operations • A problem you solved without asking your manager what to do • Collaboration proof: one example of a partnership/deal you closed (or how you would approach it) • Availability + earliest start date Applications missing the QBO section will not be reviewed. Growth Path This role can grow into Senior Studio Manager / Operations Manager as we expand. We want someone who wants responsibility, ownership, and long-term growth. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Employee discount People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): • Please describe 3-5 tasks you've completed in QuickBooks Online Work Location: In person
