Our platform is live in market, scaling quickly, and trusted by productions across the country. We’re now seeking a Project Manager who can bridge the gap between engineering, design, and leadership, helping us deliver high-quality features, accelerate innovation, and drive profitability. About the Role As Product Manager at FilmUp, you’ll be at the center of our product development process. You’ll coordinate across engineering, UX/UI, QA, and leadership to ensure we’re shipping impactful features on time and with precision. Your role will focus on overseeing development cycles, supporting QA testing, and keeping communication clear across all teams. You won’t just manage timelines, you’ll help guide the direction of our product development to maximize efficiency, revenue, and client satisfaction. Experience with software engineering will be a strong advantage, as you’ll be working closely with developers on a platform built with Laravel, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and AWS Cloud. An understanding of AI technologies is also valuable, as we embed intelligent agents and automation into every layer of FilmUp’s payroll and staffing ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Product Development Oversight: Manage product development lifecycles, from concept to release, ensuring features align with business goals. Cross-Team Communication: Act as the central point of contact between engineers, designers, QA testers, and leadership. QA Support: Oversee and support quality assurance processes to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and user satisfaction. Roadmap Execution: Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and milestone tracking to keep projects moving smoothly. Profit-Focused Direction: Work with leadership to prioritize features and initiatives that maximize revenue and client value. Technical Collaboration: Understand platform languages (Laravel, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5) and infrastructure (AWS) to engage meaningfully with the engineering team. AI Integration: Collaborate with engineers and product leadership to support the rollout of AI-driven features and automation within the platform. Skills & Qualifications Experience: 3–6 years in project management, product management, or related roles in a SaaS or B2B platform environment. Project Management Tools: Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar. Technical Literacy: Comfort with software engineering workflows and knowledge of Laravel, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, AWS Cloud. AI Awareness: Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience collaborating on AI-enabled features. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical details into business impact. Leadership & Organization: Strong ability to keep teams aligned, deadlines clear, and deliverables on track.
