As an Area Sales Manager I, you will: • Develop relationships with referral sources (realtors, builders, professional contacts, etc.) • Recruit, hire, and onboard new loan officers • Create a sales culture and environment within your team • Foster relationships with Financial Center personnel to drive business and referrals • Manage team production through local and Bancorp reporting and KPIs • Coach direct reports to achieve production goals and implement performance improvement plans for underperformers • Develop and manage business plans with Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) • Participate in sales calls with MLOs and facilitate their development of strategic and tactical plans You will be responsible for: • Ensuring MLOs provide high-quality customer service and meet standards • Monitoring operational, risk, and compliance issues and taking appropriate action • Performing Human Resource tasks, including time reporting, performance reviews, coaching, and commission administration This role requires: • A strong desire to excel in a competitive environment • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and motivate team members
