Main Activities and Responsibilities The Event Logistics team supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of logistics operations for the FIFA World Cup 26™ across all Host Cities. These roles contribute to the safe and efficient movement of teams, personnel, equipment, and assets across venues, operational sites, and transport hubs, working in close coordination with multiple FIFA Functional Areas and external partners. This Job Posting Supports Multiple Event Logistics Roles, Including • PMA Logistics • Deputy Manager, Venue Logistics PMA Logistics – Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary logistics representative for Participating Member Association (PMA) operations, liaising with FIFA Functional Areas and external stakeholders across assigned venues and Host Cities. • Support the planning, implementation, and delivery of PMA logistics operations, including team movements between airports, team base camps, training sites, and match venues. • Implement PMA-specific logistics plans, policies, procedures, and escalation protocols to ensure seamless and integrated service delivery across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. • Coordinate closely with Team Services, Event Transport, Security, and Venue Logistics to align PMA movements, routing, and operational execution. • Lead and manage the PMA Logistics and Roaming Teams, including staffing plans, task assignments, performance oversight, and staff wellbeing. • Oversee PMA equipment movements and roaming logistics operations, ensuring agreed service levels, cost efficiency, and operational accuracy. • Conduct quality assurance for temporary PMA staff and drivers, ensuring compliance with logistics procedures, health & safety standards, and training requirements. • Support sustainability initiatives and health & safety compliance across all PMA logistics activities. • Track PMA movements, maintain direct communication with PMA teams as required, and support issue resolution in real time. • Contribute to logistics planning, reporting, and continuous improvement to minimize costs and operational inefficiencies. Deputy Manager, Venue Logistics – Key Responsibilities • Provide logistics support across the Host City, including competition and non-competition venues. • Support the Manager, Venue Logistics, in planning and delivering daily venue logistics operations. • Supervise on-site Event Logistics staff, contractors, and service providers to ensure FIFA operational standards are met. • Coordinate workforce assignments, schedules, and welfare, and conduct daily staff briefings with a focus on health and safety. • Oversee the receipt, storage, distribution, and replenishment of goods and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records. • Manage the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of functional areas, furniture, and logistical assets in line with approved layouts and quantities. • Ensure compliance with logistics procedures, health and safety requirements, and venue security protocols. • Support management of logistics compounds, storage facilities, and delivery operations. • Assist PMA operations with team equipment movements during tournament periods. • Prepare operational reports, support issue resolution, and promote sustainability initiatives through efficient resource and waste management. Location This role supports stadium operations across multiple FIFA World Cup 26™ Host Cities. Not all roles will be required in every Host City. United States Current Host Cities include, but are not limited to: Atlanta, Georgia • Boston, Massachusetts • Dallas, Texas • Houston, Texas • Kansas City, Missouri • Los Angeles, California • Miami, Florida • New York / New Jersey Area • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania • San Francisco, California • Seattle, Washington Mexico Guadalajara, Jalisco • Mexico City • Monterrey, Nuevo León Canada Toronto, Ontario • Vancouver, British Columbia Your Profile Education & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Event Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. • Experience working in logistics, supply chain, event operations, venue operations, or major sporting events. • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders such as suppliers, service providers, airports, hotels, and venue teams. • Experience supervising staff, volunteers, or contractors (required for Manager and Deputy Manager roles). • Experience working in fast-paced, multicultural, and operationally complex environments is an advantage. • Familiarity with team equipment movements, transport flows, and large-scale event logistics planning is preferred. • Equivalent professional experience in logistics or major event operations may be accepted. • Training in project management, health & safety, or transport/logistics systems is an asset.
