The Indirect Category Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their needs, conducting thorough market research, performing end-to-end RFx processes, and negotiating contracts with suppliers. Key Responsibilities: • Create comprehensive strategic sourcing strategies to meet company procurement needs. • Conduct market research to uncover potential suppliers and trends. • Analyze and forecast market conditions and industry trends to guide sourcing decisions. • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. • Monitor supplier performance and proactively address any issues. • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements. • Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. • Resolve contractual disputes and issues promptly. • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies. • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to indirect sourcing and procurement. • Conduct cost analysis and market benchmarking to maintain competitive pricing. • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand departmental sourcing needs and drive procurement efficiencies. • Communicate strategic sourcing strategies and updates to relevant stakeholders. • Identify and mitigate sourcing and contract risks related to the supply chain. • Develop contingency plans to address potential supply disruptions. • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements associated with procurement. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, specifically in indirect sourcing. • In-depth IT-focused strategic sourcing experience required. • Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management leading to cost savings. • Experience managing successful end-to-end RFx processes. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent negotiation and communication capabilities. • Proficiency in procurement software and tools. • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is preferred. Salary: Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $110,000 - $125,000 annually.
