Our architecture team supports the development of advanced trading desktop applications and platforms. As a member of the Fidelity Architecture & Engineering team supporting the Active Trader products, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our digital offerings. We are a collaborative group driven by innovation, working closely with partners throughout the organization to ensure seamless user experiences. By joining our team, you will join our ongoing architecture and development efforts. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to influence technology choices and provide technical leadership. Together, we will deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles. Requirements • You have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge. • Proven experience in designing high performance customer facing desktop applications. • A track record of designing and building sophisticated architecture that supports complex and rich client applications. • Expert knowledge in client-side technologies with focus on Microsoft tech stacks. • MUST have hands-on expertise with .NET (v9) C# and XAML. • Experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages, patterns, and frameworks • Experience in leading, defining and implementing application architecture that aligns with best practices and proven standards • Well versed in complete development life cycle including CI/CD practices and performance testing and toning of applications. • An expert communicator and technical expert, able to effectively communicate technical ideas, lead and drive technical conversations to solutions • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
