Role Overview: As a Security Representative at Fidelity, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and patrol Fidelity premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the safety of all individuals. - You will respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing effective resolution and support. - You will collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance security protocols and procedures. - You will conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or concerns. - You will assist in emergency response efforts, including evacuation and first aid when necessary. - You will maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities. - You will provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting employees and visitors. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with security best practices and compliance requirements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or related fields. - Strong knowledge of security operations, surveillance systems, and emergency response. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals. - Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security are a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a corporate or financial services environment. - Certification in CPR, first aid, or other emergency response training. - Familiarity with access control systems and security technology. - Proven track record of teamwork and problem-solving in security roles.
