Job Description: Position Description: Generates analytical insights to drive business actions and improve insight capabilities, using SQL, Python, and R. Designs and develops dashboards and reports, using Tableau and Qlik. Uses and queries big data technologies – Snowflake, Hadoop, Apache Pig, and Hive. Analyzes large sets of data using statistical software. Creates graphs, charts, or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis using specialized software. Primary Responsibilities: Conducts data analyses to derive insights and drive business strategy. Develops data and hypothesis driven initiatives to optimize and personalize the customer experience, using data, analytics, engineering, data science, marketing, and product development strategies. Develops and coordinates data and hypothesis driven initiatives. Works with an Agile inter-disciplinary team across analytics, engineering, data science, marketing, and product development, to optimize and personalize the enterprise experience. Identifies solutions to business problems, such as budgeting, staffing, and marketing decisions, using the results of data analysis. Cleans and manipulates raw data using statistical software. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) developing data-driven insights using advanced analytics and data visualization platforms. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) developing data-driven insights using advanced analytics and data visualization platforms. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing data-driven insights to inform business strategy (digital experience enhancements, service optimizations, audience segmentation, and new product launch initiatives), using SQL, Python, Snowflake, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics. DE performing statistical analysis, predictive modeling, data wrangling, feature engineering, and deploying classification models for audience segmentation and targeted marketing strategies, using R; and performing data analysis using SQL and Python. DE creating advanced visualization modules and reports for real-time insights, automation, and dashboard updates, using Tableau, Adobe Analytics, and Excel. DE performing functional, integration, and report testing to ensure the accuracy of the business reports; validating data completeness, constraints, and duplication, using SQL; validating measures and dimensions for real-time custom reporting, using SQL and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, and QlikView); and identifying and rectifying discrepancies in the business reports.
