We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Sales Enablement team within the Ferguson Sales Operations organization. The Senior BSA is responsible for leading the analysis, documentation, communication, and approval of functional and non-functional business requirements for software applications with a main focus on the Xactly and Incent platforms. This role acts as a liaison between Ferguson business groups or departments and the Technology department. Location: This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee tasks such as perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across multiple releases. Validate system configurations, incentive plan calculations, and reporting outputs. Identify, log, and track software defects; collaborate with developers, business analysts, and admins for resolution. Lead and support automation opportunities (if applicable) to improve testing efficiency. Provide feedback on system usability, performance, and data quality. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards, processes, and documentation. Work with QA Tester to create User Acceptance Testing plans, coordinate testing activities, and document test results for new system functionalities and processes. Provide level three support on new features and work with development staff as needed to resolve issues. Perform system testing independently and with users. Tackle sophisticated system issues using strong analytical skills. Assess current processes to find inefficiencies and suggest enhancements. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to aid decision-making. Assist with IT project documentation and prepare reports for management. Perform additional related duties as assigned. Support the planning, management, and execution of implementation and migration projects. Maintain project schedules and scope, providing consistent status updates to team members. Advise on processes, including standard methodologies across ServiceNow and Atlassian platforms. Deliver training for end users and develop documentation to outline standard processes. Create job aids for commonly repeated tasks. Develop and deliver high-quality demonstrations of products and services with expertise. Support both end users and partners with troubleshooting and issue resolution. Maintain organized records of IT procedures, system modifications/enhancements, and troubleshooting instructions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Xactly and Connect system experience is highly preferred. 3-5 years of combined experience in business analysis, project management, or scrum master roles within technology-centric environments. Proven ability to elicit, document, and refine sophisticated business and technical requirements, including user stories, process flows, and system interactions. Familiarity with software development and maintenance methodologies. Exceptional customer engagement skills, with the ability to influence and align multi-functional teams without direct authority. Proven success in enabling collaboration and aligning business goals with technical execution. Strong analytical abilities, organizational discipline, and clear communication—both verbal and written—with an emphasis on structure, clarity, and effective execution. Proficiency in collaboration and workflow management platforms to support visibility, documentation, and delivery efficiency. Experienced with Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and other software commonly used in the industry. Experience supporting change readiness and user adoption through training and collaborator engagement. Experience with intake or prioritization processes in digital or technology operations. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. - $6,805.95 - $11,921.25 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
