Ferguson is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join the Compensation Operations Team, responsible for implementing and administering the organization’s compensation programs. This position reports to the Senior Manager Compensation Operations and will collaborate with the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE), HRIS, Payroll, HR Service Delivery, HR Business Partners, and other areas across Ferguson. Ideally, this person will come from a fast-paced environment with an orientation toward continuous process improvement and analytics. The person will be comfortable within a growing, somewhat ambiguous organizational structure and can deal with issues like pay transparency and evolving compensation priorities. Location: This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or hybrid for Newport News, VA, according to company policy. Responsibilities: Implements and administers the company's compensation programs and policies in accordance with established practices to help attract, retain, and motivate associates. Reviews compensation changes in individual pay for conformance to company guidelines. Conducts regular audits of assigned processes using data from Workday and partnering with HRIS on reporting requirements. Support the development of the career framework and job architecture. Participates in the administration of the annual compensation processes (annual increases, annual bonus, and long-term incentives) including process testing and preparation, process analysis and guidance to HR and managers. Assists with improving the compensation processes, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing exceptions, and automating processes. Provides compensation recommendations for internal moves, promotions, and external hires. Assist in participation of external salary surveys. Partner with third party vendors as needed in support of our compensation programs and processes. Support other Total Rewards projects as needed. Qualifications: 3-5 years of compensation or equivalent HR or related work experience desired. Ferguson experience ideal. Act as a trusted resource to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (excellent written and verbal communication skills). Effective at influencing, facilitating, and problem-solving. Excellent attention to detail and analyzing data. Experience with Workday preferred. Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently. Strong experience with Excel, and experience with other Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Has obtained or working towards PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or CCP preferred. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. - $4,124.70 - $6,783.70 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
