ABOUT FERA PETS: Fera Pets is a fast-growing, women-founded pet wellness brand offering science-backed, holistic supplements formulated by our veterinarian and co-founder. THE ROLE: The Senior Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the DTC growth strategy at Fera. This responsibility includes managing day-to-day Shopify operations, building out the DTC marketing funnel strategy, managing our partner agencies and contractors, and having accountability for hitting the DTC revenue and profitability goals. In this role, you will report to the VP of Growth and partner cross-functionally with the eCommerce team, creative and social teams, logistics, customer service, etc. This role will wear multiple hats, operate in a fast-paced environment, stay nimble as change occurs, and is a high impact opportunity. This role is based out of Los Angeles, CA but we are open to remote candidates who are willing to travel as outlined below. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking an experienced DTC growth leader to own and scale our Shopify business, driving profitable revenue growth across acquisition, retention, and the customer experience. This role will be responsible for the strategy, performance, and P&L of the DTC channel, overseeing paid acquisition strategy, lifecycle marketing, social commerce, and the on-site Shopify experience. The ideal candidate has deep experience scaling Shopify-based brands, managing cross-channel growth strategies, and leading high-performing teams and agency partners. You understand how the full DTC ecosystem works—from paid acquisition and creative testing to lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, and retention—and can translate data into strategic decisions that drive sustainable growth. This leader will manage a team across social commerce, lifecycle marketing, and DTC growth initiatives, while partnering closely with creative, operations, and product teams to maximize revenue and customer lifetime value. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Own & Scale the DTC Business • Own the DTC channel P&L, driving profitable growth across acquisition, retention, and on-site conversion. • Develop and execute the DTC growth strategy, optimizing key metrics including revenue, contribution margin, CAC, ROAS, LTV, AOV, and conversion rate. • Manage a multi-million dollar marketing budget, allocating spend across channels to maximize both short-term revenue and long-term customer value. • Identify scalable growth opportunities that drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Shopify & eCommerce Performance • Own the Shopify storefront experience, including merchandising strategy, conversion optimization, and customer journey. • Partner with developers and eCommerce partners to improve site performance, UX, PDPs, landing pages, and overall conversion rate. • Lead CRO and experimentation initiatives to continuously improve on-site engagement and AOV. • Oversee product launches, merchandising, and promotional calendars across the DTC channel. • Lead organic growth initiatives including SEO and blog/content strategy to drive education, organic traffic, and new customer acquisition. Acquisition Strategy & Agency Leadership • Own paid media strategy and channel mix across Meta, Google, TikTok, influencer, and emerging platforms. • Manage external agencies responsible for campaign execution, providing strategic direction, budget allocation, and performance oversight. • Partner with creative teams to build high-performing creative testing frameworks that improve acquisition efficiency and scale. Retention, Social Commerce & Team Leadership • Oversee lifecycle marketing strategy across email and SMS, driving improvements in retention, repeat purchase, and LTV. • Manage and support the Lifecycle & Retention Manager. • Lead social commerce and affiliate growth, overseeing the Social Media Manager and TikTok Shop & Affiliate Coordinator. • Develop strategies to scale TikTok Shop, creator partnerships, and affiliate programs as meaningful revenue channels. Analytics, Reporting & Cross-Functional Leadership • Build and maintain reporting frameworks across Shopify, Triple Whale, GA4, and Klaviyo to monitor acquisition, retention, and DTC profitability. • * Own weekly and monthly performance reporting to the executive team, providing clear insights into revenue drivers and growth opportunities. • Translate data into strategic recommendations that inform marketing investment and growth priorities. • Partner closely with Creative, Social, Operations, Logistics, and CX teams to align campaigns, launches, and promotional strategies. • Stay ahead of industry trends and identify new channels, platforms, and partnerships to drive growth. Minimum Qualifications • 5+ years of experience scaling DTC/eCommerce brands, preferably within the Shopify ecosystem • Proven track record owning and growing a DTC revenue channel • Strong experience developing paid media strategies and managing external marketing agencies • Experience managing marketing budgets and performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, LTV, and conversion rate • Experience leading cross-functional marketing teams • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously • Based in Los Angeles or open to traveling to LA once per month • US work authorization without sponsorship requirements Preferred Qualifications • Deep experience scaling Shopify-based consumer brands • Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or consumer products • Strong understanding of conversion optimization, retention marketing, and social commerce • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and build scalable growth strategies • Exceptional communication and leadership skills ABOUT FERA PETS Co-founded by veterinarian Dr. Michelle Dulake, Fera Pets creates high-quality, science-backed supplements made with clean, filler-free ingredients.
