Fennemore has an exciting opportunity for a Remote Docketing Specialist to join our growing firm. At Fennemore, you will be part of a collaborative legal team where your work matters. Reporting to the Docketing Manager, you will support attorneys and legal professionals across the firm by ensuring that court dates, deadlines, and filings are handled accurately and efficiently. You'll help keep cases on track, teams informed, and clients confident that every detail is managed with care. Together, we'll continue to refine processes that make our legal teams more engaging and enhance the exceptional service we provide to our clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Docketing Specialist, you will: * Enter and update court dates, deadlines, and events in the firm's docketing system with accuracy and care. * Review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents to ensure all information is complete and correct. * Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to make sure filings are submitted on time. * Check docket entries for accuracy and confirm that deadlines meet court and jurisdictional rules. * Research court rules and procedures and share updates or changes with your team. * Help improve processes and contribute ideas that make our department more efficient. * Support team projects and other department needs as requested by the Docketing Manager. * Work closely with colleagues in all offices to share information, answer questions, and support smooth communication across teams. * Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment where collaboration and learning are encouraged. * Other duties/special projects as assigned. WHAT YOU BRING You'll be successful in this role if you: * Have 1–3 years of experience in litigation docketing in a law firm or legal department. * Have experience using rule-based calendaring software (CourtAlert is a plus). * Are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. * Bring strong attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate work. * Communicate clearly and respectfully with attorneys and team members at all levels. * Can organize your day, manage deadlines, and stay flexible when priorities shift. * Enjoy solving problems and researching answers when something new comes your way. * Work well both independently and as part of a team. * Approach your work with reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit. * Are curious, open to learning new technologies, and excited to grow with a supportive team.
