High school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing, knowledge of CNC/milling, proficiency with Microsoft applications, familiarity with ERP systems.
Lead First-Shift Production with Precision and Purpose Step into a first-shift leadership role where you orchestrate a fast-moving manufacturing floor, guide operators running CNC and milling operations, and keep quality, safety, and throughput in balance. You’ll use your supervisory experience to keep the plan on track, nurture talent, and ensure our customers get flawless product on time. What You’ll Lead • Execute the daily production plan and convert schedules into actionable shop-floor priorities. • Plan day-to-day activities for production staff and track output to meet schedule commitments. • Support recruiting and selection for production roles to build a strong team. • Uphold quality by ensuring operators follow standardized checks and meet defined quality thresholds. • Oversee training and cross-training; hold regular check-ins to assess progress and adjust learning plans. • Set performance standards, monitor results, deliver feedback via our appraisal process, and administer discipline when needed. • Assist with routine safety inspections to maintain OSHA compliance. • Champion shop-floor cleanliness and housekeeping. • Maintain inventory levels needed for uninterrupted production—raw materials, supplies, packaging, and finished goods. • Provide direction and oversight for production activities on off shifts as needed. Credentials • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, engineering, or a related field preferred. • 3+ years in a supervisory capacity. • Hands-on manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment is required. Knowledge • Manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and core manufacturing principles. • Working knowledge of CNC and milling operations. • Proficiency with Microsoft applications. • Familiarity with ERP systems.
