Job Overview We are seeking a competent, responsible, personable Dental Front Desk Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator to join our vibrant dental practice. Responsibilities • Greet patients warmly, manage patient check-in and check-out processes, make appointments, and handle all front desk duties with professionalism and enthusiasm. • Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and coordinate benefits using Eaglesoft. • Review and process patient documentation, including medical and dental histories, treatment plans, and consent forms • Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software; manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette • Conduct insurance claims submissions, follow-up on unpaid claims, and perform collections for outstanding balances with accuracy and attention to detail • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information • Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining office supplies, and managing electronic health records in Eaglesoft Qualifications • Proven experience in a dental or medical front desk role with strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical billing procedures • Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft; experience preferred • Solid understanding of insurance verification processes, CDT coding • Excellent computer skills • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and in person • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and data entry • Previous clinic or healthcare office experience is highly desirable; familiarity with dental clinic operations is preferred • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Join our team where your organizational skills and energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice.
